The My Scheduled Inspections page is used by the IBTS Inspector to schedule inspections against issued permit applications. Only after the permit is issued, the My Schedule Inspections link is available under Inspections in Home Page.
To add and submit an inspection, do the following:
If the inspection(s) was previously scheduled for an IBTS inspector, it is displayed in My Scheduled Inspections under Inspections in the Home page.
When the concerned Inspector logs in, click My Scheduled Inspections to go to My Scheduled Inspections page.
Click the Edit link in the grid to go to the Schedule Inspection page.
Click Inspect link against a particular record in the grid to go to the Add Inspections page as shown below:
Select the Inspection Date using the date picker.
Select the Trv. Time and Ins. Time from the respective drop-down lists.
Select an inspector from the drop-down list.
Enter Contact Info in the text box provided.
Select the Status from the drop-down list.
Click icon to open a pop up window Add Violation
to enter the violation for failed inspections. (This option is
available only after you submit the inspection).
Enter comments if any.
Select Print check box to generate Inspection Report for the selected records.
Select SMS or Email check boxes to send notification whether the inspection passed/failed through sms or email respectively.
Click Submit Inspection to save the inspection data.
Once submitted, select the same permit using Search option and click Add Inspection in the Control Panel. Select ‘OK to Issue Certificate of Occupancy/Completion’ to issue certificate of occupancy. (To check this option, at least one inspection must be ‘Passed’ and there should be no ‘Open’ inspections)
Click Submit and Schedule another Inspection to save and schedule another inspection for the same permit.
Click Submit and Manage Documents to save and manage the documents for the same permit.
Click Close to close the Add Inspection page and return to Home page.
Add Violation
The Add Violation screen allows to enter the violation details as shown below:
To enter violations for a permit inspection, do the following:
Select the violation code from the drop down list.
Enter the violation description in the text box provided.
Enter the violation comment in the text box provided.
Click Save to save the details.
Click Cancel to clear the data.
To edit or delete the violation code, do the following:
Click Edit link in the grid and the details are populated in the fields.
Make the necessary changes and click Save to save the changes made.
Click Delete link in the grid to delete the violation.
To add new violation code, do the following:
Click Add New link to add new code violation as shown below:
Enter new code reference for violation.
Enter the violation in the text box provided.
Click Save to save the violation else click Cancel.

Notes:
If the inspection has failed and ‘Include Only Once’ option was not selected n Schedule Inspections page, the same inspection will be included in Schedule Inspections.
'OK to Issue Certificate of Occupancy/Completion’ checkbox will be enabled only after the inspection details are saved and submitted.
If the permit application is submitted before selecting 'OK to Issue Certificate of Occupancy/Completion’ checkbox, the status of the permit will be 'Issued' and not 'Inspected'.
Once an inspection is saved and submitted, the status of the permit changes to Inspected.
To schedule an inspection type for the permit, do the following:
Select an inspection from the Add New Inspection drop-down list from the table as shown below:
Click Add New Inspection to add the inspection to the grid.
Select the check box under the Schedule column in the grid.
Select the requested Schedule Date using the date picker.
Enter the name, phone number and email of the person requesting the inspection in the respective text boxes provided.
Click icon verify the inspector’s availability.
Click icon to copy the same information as entered in the
previous records.
Enter any additional comments/requests from the person requesting the inspection.
Select the Print check box if print out is required.
Repeat the same steps as mentioned above for any additional inspection types to be scheduled.
Click Schedule Inspection to submit the scheduled inspections.
Click Close to exit from Schedule Inspections page and return to Home page.
Work items for each scheduled inspection type will be added to the chosen inspector’s list.
Note:
If any of the inspection types were pre-selected in the Apply Default Inspections section in the Permit Application page initially by the user, a check will be displayed in the check box under the Required column in Schedule Inspections grid.
Only after an inspection is scheduled, the inspector availability icon is visible.
